THE PLAN

What has Lindsey done?
Lindsey began racing in the summer of 2002 where she won her first club race at the North Texas Kartway in Denton, Texas.  In 2004 she competed in the Rotax International class at NTK and received Rookie of the Year. 2005 was an undefeated year for Lindsey. In January she competed in the World Karting Association’s Winter Cup Championship winning the championships in both the TAG class and the Rotax International class. Lindsey continued on to participate in the South West Regional Cup Championship, running in twelve races and winning twelve races. Midsummer she competed in the Rotax South Central Regions Cup and the Kart National Championship, winning both. Lindsey’s most memorable racing moment to this date is starting last in the KART National Championship race due to a broken throttle cable in qualifying and battling up to first place, winning the national championship. In 2006 Lindsey received an opportunity to drive a Standard Formula Mazda for Addison, Texas, based racing team, Team Tomlin. She Won her first SCCA national race at Texas World Speedway and finished second in the Southwest Formula Mazda series. Lindsey and Team Tomlin dedicated October Mazda race to raising awareness for breast cancer and received ABC World News Person of the Week for such efforts. This past year, 2007, Lindsey ran the first three races in Formula BMW USA and numerous races in the Skip Barber National and Regional series.

What does Lindsey want to do?
With all of her previous experience in open wheel racing Lindsey has aspirations to run in the Indy Racing League or the Champ Car World Series. Lindsey would not exclude any opportunities to run in a stock car. When asked about possibly making the transition to stock car racing Lindsey replied:
“My main goal is to continue on in racing and become a paid driver. I love all kinds of racing and will not limit myself to one particular series; but I do believe that to be fully competitive you have to focus yourself in one general area. I grew up watching the Indy 500 and the Daytona 500, but have always loved both. Though all of the experience I have is directed toward open wheel racing if the right opportunity, with a stock car team, were to arise I would give it full consideration. My dream has always been to compete in the Indianapolis 500. That is one race that I have to run in before my career is over.”

How will Lindsey make it happen?
When much time and effort invested in racing for the battle against breast cancer, Lindsey is looking for partners that want to continue to see her raising awareness.

"Obviously I race because I love the sport. But I have recently dedicated my career to raising awareness for cancer. Like every race car driver out there I am looking for opportunities. Opportunities where I can continue to race and continue to make a difference in the battle against cancer. I need to find marketing partners that have the same goals as I do. I know there is a lot more that I can do to make a difference, I am ready to maximize my effort.” –Lindsey Adams

"My battle with breast cancer was a battle that I did not fight alone, my family and friends were very supportive and my GOD was with me every step of the way. The greatest thing about having cancer is that my walk with Jesus Christ is so much stronger," -Charlie

LORIE LORD... A TRUE SURVIVOR 04.24.2008
Last October I got the opportunity to drive a Radical SR-4 for Stars and Stripes Motorsports. The race was in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and my mom had gotten wind that a survivor up there, named Lorie Lord, had been fighting against breast cancer, working hard to raise awareness, and in the process had become a real influence in her local area. Little did we know, Lorie, was the niece of one of my mother’s best, longtime friends. We gave her a call and she was out at the track a week later riding in the race car with me and having a blast. We inducted her into Survivors’ Circle and had the privilege of meeting h ... full entry
