Lindsey graduates out of Legends 600 Pro Series

Charlotte, North Carolina (July 12, 2008): After a great season with SPG Motorsports, Adams and her management have made the decision to pull out of the Legends Car Series. The decision was made so that Lindsey will be focusing, full time, on her efforts in a full size stock car.

“SPG Motorsports gave me everything they had to offer in the Legends Car Series. Our goal was to learn ovals and develop my skills in fender to fender racing. Now I will continue on my education in stock cars. I am very grateful to Sean Glennon for his commitment to my development and support in my career,” commented Lindsey earlier this week.

With their goals fulfilled LAR will leave the Legends Pro Series currently fourteenth in points Nationally, the highest ranking female in the Pro Division. The highest in National points Lindsey reached was fifth position with fourteen top five finishes in the Lone Star Legends Series.

Katy Trail 5k 05.19.2009
Last Thursday my friend, Leah, and I ran in the Katy Trail 5k. The Katy Trail is a privately maintained public park in uptown Dallas. The marathon was the annual event used to raise money for the Friends of the Katy Trail, the nonprofit organization that is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the Katy Trail. Leah and I, along with about 5,000 others ran to support the Katy Trail and have fun in our community! I was thrilled to be participating in the event and loved getting to see how my community came together to support our gorgeous public park. The 5K, memberships of the Katy Trail, and the local support of our restaurants and businesses have helped raise more than $20 million, naming the Katy Trail one of the great American public parks. Thank you to those who sponsored the event and to everyone who ran/walked in the race. Looking forward to seeing you all next year! ... full entry
