LAR Partners with Trinity Marketing & Development

CHARLOTTE, NC (OCTOBER 3, 2007): It was over a year ago, this month, that Lindsey and Trinity Marketing & Development first made contact. Don and Emily Nugent saw Lindsey on ABC World News with Charles Gibson. "There was an instant connection with Don and Emily," Debbie Adams recollected about their initial conversation, "Their lives had been impacted by cancer and they were moved with what we were doing for breast cancer awareness." The two decided to stay in contact and Trinity agreed to become a consultant, helping out until Lindsey’s direction became more focused on stock cars.

During the summer of 2007 Lindsey and her parents decided to open the door to stock cars. With a promising future together, LAR immediately started working with Trinity Marketing & Development (TMND). For over a year TMND, along with Lindsey and her parents, have been working hard to develop partnerships for LAR on the breast cancer front.

"With the national exposure motorsports garners, Lindsey’s talent on and off-track gives us an exciting opportunity along with our partners to make commitments, share stories, and impact the lives of those that have been touched by breast cancer. If we can encourage a young woman or those of her family to engage in conversations about the importance of early detection through our racing campaign; we are giving them an opportunity to not be a statistic, raise the bar and be apart of the race for a cure." —Emily Nugent on breast cancer.

Lindsey commented,

"I am 100% committed to TMND and stock car racing. I am ready for this change and believe with all my heart it is the best decision, for me personally, and for my career. It’s definitely not easy to find a group of people who are as committed to winning races and raising awareness for breast cancer as we are. I feel extremely blessed to be working with Don and Emily and am looking forward to a successful year in stock car racing."

Katy Trail 5k 05.19.2009
Last Thursday my friend, Leah, and I ran in the Katy Trail 5k. The Katy Trail is a privately maintained public park in uptown Dallas. The marathon was the annual event used to raise money for the Friends of the Katy Trail, the nonprofit organization that is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the Katy Trail. Leah and I, along with about 5,000 others ran to support the Katy Trail and have fun in our community! I was thrilled to be participating in the event and loved getting to see how my community came together to support our gorgeous public park. The 5K, memberships of the Katy Trail, and the local support of our restaurants and businesses have helped raise more than $20 million, naming the Katy Trail one of the great American public parks. Thank you to those who sponsored the event and to everyone who ran/walked in the race. Looking forward to seeing you all next year! ... full entry
